The site-specific data files (see “Bern.DAT” as an example below) conta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g:<br />

• Three site-specific parameters, i.e. kLat, kFC, and kSlAsp<br />

• Four parameters describ<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> average output data <strong>of</strong> FORCLIM-E at <strong>the</strong> site.<br />

These values are used to provide a constant <strong>in</strong>put to <strong>the</strong> submodels FORCLIM-P<br />

and FORCLIM-S when FORCLIM-E is not present (i.e. not declared)<br />

• 60 long-term mean monthly climatic parameters obta<strong>in</strong>ed from <strong>the</strong> Swiss Meteorological<br />
