MISCELLANEOUS REVENUE & RESOURCES<br />

01.1990 SIDA REIMBURSEMENT: An agreement between the <strong>Syracuse</strong> Industrial Development Agency and the <strong>City</strong> to promote, attract,<br />

encourage and develop recreational and economically sound commerce and industry in order to advance job opportunities. The <strong>City</strong> is to receive a<br />

grant <strong>of</strong> $53,400,000 over a twelve year period, payable from the fees collected from the Destiny USA Project.<br />

01.1991 SIDA DEMOLITION FUNDING: This is the SIDA funding for the demolitions <strong>of</strong> houses in the St. Joseph’s Hospital area.<br />

01.2700 MEDICARE PART D SUBSIDY: The <strong>City</strong> receives payments from the Federal Government to continue the retiree prescription drug<br />

program for Medicare eligible recipients.<br />

01.2655 BID/SPEC. REVENUE: A fee <strong>of</strong> $50 to $100 is charged for copies <strong>of</strong> project blueprints and specs to contractors who wish to submit bids.<br />

01.2680 INSURANCE RECOVERIES: Pursuant to accounting policy established by the Office <strong>of</strong> the State Comptroller, this revenue item was<br />

created effective July 1, 1999. Proceeds received as a result <strong>of</strong> pursuing a non-city party/entity for recoverable property damages are now deposited<br />

into this revenue account.<br />

01.2690 MISCELLANEOUS COMPENSATION FOR LOSS: Payments received by the <strong>City</strong> for compensation paid to employees.<br />

01.2304 ONONDAGA COUNTY LIGHTING REIMBURSEMENT: An agreement with Onondaga County to reimburse the <strong>City</strong> for lighting<br />

improvements around the Civic Center, War Memorial and the OnCenter. This agreement begins January 1, 2008 and expired December 31, 2012<br />

and may be renewed for three additional terms <strong>of</strong> five years each.<br />

01.2769 SODA COMMISSIONS: Payment for exclusive pouring rights for all <strong>City</strong> buildings and venues (other than the Airport).<br />

01.4965 HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES/ERRP: Reimbursement by the Federal Government <strong>of</strong> a percentage <strong>of</strong> medical expenses for retirees<br />

over the age <strong>of</strong> 55 but under the age <strong>of</strong> 65 with gross claims over $15,000 up to $90,000. This program was discontinued December 2011.<br />

01.2801 AVIATION FUND REIMBURSEMENTS: Effective fiscal year 1990, the Aviation Department became an Enterprise Fund, separate from the<br />

General Fund. This revenue account is comprised <strong>of</strong> monies the Enterprise Fund reimburses the <strong>City</strong>'s General Fund for services provided to the<br />

Aviation Department by <strong>City</strong> operating departments and staff agencies.<br />

01.5035 INTERFUND TRANSFER-WATER FUND: The Water Fund reimburses the General Fund for services provided by <strong>City</strong> departments<br />

throughout the fiscal year.<br />

01.5036 INTERFUND TRANSFER-SEWER FUND: The Sewer Fund reimburses the General Fund for services provided by <strong>City</strong> departments<br />

throughout the fiscal year.
