PUBLIC WORKS<br />

01.1710 CHARGES FOR SERVICES: Verizon and National Grid reimburse the <strong>City</strong> for inspecting street cuts. These charges cover the cost <strong>of</strong><br />

inspection during the work being performed. This account also includes salt reimbursements from CNY Centro and SUNY Health.<br />

01.1711 PAVING CUTS: Contractors, including Verizon and National Grid who cut into <strong>City</strong> streets pay the <strong>City</strong> $1.72 per square foot for each cut.<br />

01.1712 DPW CHARGES-OUTSIDE AGENCIES: The <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Syracuse</strong> provides services to outside agencies for which we are reimbursed. We<br />

provide vehicle fuel to <strong>Syracuse</strong> Housing Authority and road salt to Centro <strong>of</strong> CNY.<br />

01.1713 ASPHALT SALES: This represents the purchase <strong>of</strong> asphalt from the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Syracuse</strong> Department <strong>of</strong> Public Works by the County <strong>of</strong><br />

Onondaga.<br />

revenues represent the money the <strong>City</strong><br />

receives from these parking lots.<br />
