STUD DOG CLASS – For Stud Dogs and at least two, and not more than four of their Get. It is not
be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the
merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be
dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed.
eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won either of these classes.
*Chapter 11, Secon 8 of the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows" provides that a neutered male may be
entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed Bitch may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the
Brood Bitch Class.
Specialty 2012 ‐ Relive the Experience!
Photos Are Wonderful... BUT VIDEO CLIPS ARE MUCH MORE POWERFUL!
The 2012 Specialty happens only once – don’t let the memory be lost! Our event will be filmed by
Purebred Studios and burned to DVDs, for excellent image quality. The DVDs include “color” such
as interviews with judges and winners, as well as carefully capturing the performance of each
dog.
These DVDs are of great value not only to breeders, but to anyone who is a true fancier
of the breed. In years to come, there is no substute for being able to look back at the
ancestors of one’s hound(s) to see where certain traits came from ‐ something that will
grow in value with the passing years.
Also offered will be “Custom Video Clips” For Your Email, Social Networks & Personal Websites
(To view a sample go to: www.youtube.com/purebredstudios ) Embed them on your Kennel or
Personal Web sites, aach them to your Emails, announce your win on Facebook!
