FRENZY FYX
The Frenzy has been the benchmark for D-Power foil design since
2001. Our designers have spent over one year working on the
development of the FYX, the result is a technical masterpiece
combining performance and ease of use like never before.
Robbie has created the FYX based on the design of the Legendary Manta
II. The FYX shares the same technically advanced Ozone “Speed System”
with a double pulley on each side that allows the angle of attack (D-Power)
to be changed minutely which results in the smoothest progression from full
power to full D-Power.
The Double Pulley speed system is designed to work in harmony with the
Y-Line design, bridle plan, sail tension and profile. The balance of the design
is what makes the mid-aspect FYX such a solid performer with unbeatable
stability, turning speed, low end power and impressive D-Power.

MANTA II 09
The high aspect MANTA II became known as the Snowkite
of choice for experienced kiters last season, the ultimate
backcountry tool for those in the know.
The handling and performance allows the rider to push their level further
than ever before making this the ultimate kite for experienced riders.

For the 09 Season the Manta II has been updated with an improved trim
for more performance, comes with our new “Patent Pending” Control

we knew there was a need for the ultimate snowkite to be designed.

Ozone is more than just a kite company; we are a group of friends united in our passion to
design products to the highest level. Our background is diverse; each member brings industry
leading experience to the table creating products that we love to ride or fly.
Our founding design team have been involved in
air and wind sport aeronautical design with years
of hands on experience. David Pilkington, a Dr in
Aerodynamics having worked for British aerospace
previously to Ozone. Robbie Whittall who started
flying Hang-Gliders aged 16 (1986), World
Champion by 18 and Paragliding World Champion
by 19. Robbie worked for some of the World’s
leading designers as a test pilot and trimmer.
This type of experience is the foundation of our
ability to create industry leading designs with 20+
years experience in the wind-sports industry. The
icing on the cake is our manufacturing facility
founded in Vietnam by David that gives us a
quality unique only to Ozone.
Test fly or inspect one of our kites to see and feel
the Ozone difference. Design, Development and
testing never stops. We often get asked if there is
something new coming, you bet there is, we have
restless minds and as one job is finished the idea
is already born of how to make it better. On top of

CONTROL SYSTEM
In 2005 we introduced our “leash-less” RE-RIDE safety system which meant no more leash
tangles or hassles when riding. Our design has since been copied by many brands, the
biggest compliment we can think of!
Robbie, Ozone’s designer and one of the most active snowkiters in the World has had his creative
energies flowing the past year! To compliment his new designs, the FRENZY FYX and the MANTA II
09, Rob re-designed his “RE-RIDE” safety system. The “Patent Pending” system is simpler and more
effective whilst being easier to reload once activated.
The new Control System with our moulded “Megatron” Chicken-loop, trim buckles, new plastic bar ends
and Robbie’s cleaner safety system gives you the ultimate bar in one length (54cm) that works for all sizes
of Frenzy FYX and Manta II.
