Sanitizing. 3-8 NOTE The ABC-M24/M25A1 mask cannot be dipped in a sanitizing solution or water because sanitizing solution or water can damage the microphone and loosen the tape seal around the outlet valve. Mask is sanitized when it is turned in for reassignment. Sanitization of your mask, if required, will be done under the direction of unit personnel. See your NBC NCO or officer for assistance.
