NOTE<br />
The following procedures may be used for<br />
either the ABC-M5 Tank Mask Hood or M7<br />
Aircraft Mask Hood. Where procedures differ,<br />
the specific hood is identified.<br />
(1) Spread hood (1) out flat with<br />
opening for eyelens facing up.<br />
(2) Adjust neck cord leather<br />
slider (2) to 2 inches (5.12cm)<br />
from end of neck cord (3).<br />
(3) Preadjust underarm straps (4)<br />
for a snug but comfortable fit<br />
then unfasten them.<br />
(4) Put facepiece (5) inside hood<br />
through lens opening. Leave<br />
hose (6) and microphone<br />
cable (7) outside hood (1) for<br />
M5 hood. Put microphone<br />
cable (7) inside hood (1) with<br />
hose (6) outside hood (1) for<br />
the M7 hood.
