2-104 2-16. STOWING YOUR FACEPIECE WITH HOOD AND CANISTER ATTACHED (CONT). f. With your other hand, reach down and grasp shoulder straps (3), neck cord (2), and microphone cable (8) and fold them up along the right side of facepiece (6). Use the same thumb holding the fold of hood (7) to hold these items.
TM 3-4240-280-10 g. With your free hand, fold the bottom of hood (7) up to me right of facepiece (6). The bulk of the fold of the hood is now at the bottom right side of facepiece (6). h. Make sure canister (9) is stowed in the bottom of the carrier (10) and secured with the two short straps which fasten around the hose to hold canister in place. i. Fold air duct hose (11) into facepiece (6) and insert facepiece (6) with folded hood (7) into carrier (10) chin area first with lens up. Snap or press carrier flap (12) closed. 2-105
