Sub: Quotations for PIN mailer, Window envelopes, Welcome letters &
Welcome kits.
We invite Sealed Quotations for supply of PIN mailer, Window Envelopes, Welcome
letters & Welcome kits as per the specifications given here below and sample
enclosed. The requirement of the Bank will be approximately 40,000 each sets of
PIN mailers, Window Envelopes, Welcome letters & Welcome kits for the next one
year. Bank reserves its right to procure +/- (25%) of specified quantity. There shall be
separate quotes for the PIN mailers, window envelopes and Welcome letters &
Welcome kits.
The sealed quotations superscribing “Quotations for PIN mailer, Window
Envelopes, Welcome letters & Welcome Kits” and addressed to Sri D
Sivagnanam, Chief Manager should be put in the Tender box kept in the Bank’s
Card Centre at SyndicateBank, Corporate Office, No.69, 1 st floor, 9 th Main, 3 rd Block,
Jayanagar, Bangalore-560011 on or before 1100 hrs on Friday, 15 th November,
2013. In case the covers are too bulky, they may be handed over to Mr. D
Sivagnanam, Chief Manager or Sri R R Behura, Chief Manager or Mr. Udaya
Bhanu H, Senior Manager (IT) at the aforesaid address against acknowledgement.
Any quotation received by the Bank after the deadline for submission mentioned
above will be rejected.
The Sealed Quotations will be opened at 3.00 PM on Friday, the 15 th November,
2013 at the Bank’s Card Centre at SyndicateBank, Corporate Office, No.69, 1 st floor,
9 th Main, 3 rd Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore-560011 in the presence of the Tender
Opening Committee of the Bank. All the vendors who have submitted the quotations
and representatives of Trade are welcome to be present and participate on the date
and time of opening the quotations.
Please note that this is not an offer for supply of PIN mailers, Window Envelopes &
welcome letters and the Bank reserves the right to accept or reject the offer without
assigning any reason, what so ever.
The specifications and terms for supply of PIN mailers, Window envelopes,
Welcome letters & Welcome kits are furnished in Annexure.

ANNEXURE

23.00 cms x 10.00 cms x 3 parts continuous stationary. 3 Pinmailers
in a form. Each page should bear continuous serial
number.
Envelopes:
24.5 cms x 11.00 cms Envelope with window of appropriate size
to cover the full address box.

Carbonless Paper
1 st Part (Carbon at back) 52 GSM
2 Paper
2 nd Part (Carbon at front & back) 58 GSB
3 rd Part (Carbon at front) 86 GSM
Envelopes:
100 GSM density paper with self gluing
The quality of the paper should confirm to BIS standard.
3 Colour &
design
Paper colour, text and design for the PIN mailers and envelopes
shall be as approved by the Bank.
4 Samples
Sample PIN mailers and Envelopes shall be submitted within 7
days of issue of Purchase Order, for approval of design
adoption, colour management, correctness of text and lay out

PIN mailer & Quote for PIN mailer & Envelopes will be taken as single
Envelopes unit for evaluation and for placing orders.
6 Taxes & levies
The price to be quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, freight
and charges for delivery of stationery at Bangalore.
7 Validity
The quoted price shall be valid for at least for one year from the
date of issuing the initial Purchase order
8 Delivery The PIN mailers and Envelopes shall be delivered at Bangalore
9 Supply
a. The initial order will be for 25,000 sets of PIN mailers and
corresponding Envelopes.
b. The Bank may place the repeat order for supply
subsequently depending upon requirement upon satisfactory
performance of first order at the same rates during the next
one year.
10 Insurance
The vendor should undertake, at their own cost, transit
insurance for the goods supplied till the same are delivered at
the final destination.
11 Warranty
The vendor should warrant against any manufacturing defects/
shortcoming in the quality of paper, printing, gumming etc. and
should replace such defective PIN mailers / Envelopes
immediately at no extra cost to the Bank.
12 Payments
On supply of PIN mailers and Envelopes and upon submission

of invoice with proof of satisfactory delivery.

Colour: 4 clr , single side printing
Supply: 20,000 each (20,000+20,000) welcome letters for issue
to new & renewal cards
