Katarina Marcok
Certificate IV in Floristry
Padstow College
Nadia Saliba
Diploma of Laboratory Technology
(Pathology Testing)
Granville College
“I feel an immense sense of honour receiving this Award
and am very humbled. For the last three years I have had
the pleasure of viewing phenomenal masterpieces created
by my fellow peers and to even be viewed within their
category is an honour in itself. After gaining more industry
experience, I aim to undertake a TAFE teacher qualification
so that I can use my knowledge and experience to educate
future floristry students. The floristry teachers at Padstow
provided me with their time guided me in the right direction
and allowed me to achieve and strive to succeed.”
“I feel very honoured and humbled to be receiving this
award. It is a wonderful achievement and I am thankful
to my TAFE teachers who nominated me and helped me
achieve success in my Diploma. My goals are to achieve
a career in the pathology or health industry. I want to
excel in a field which aims at providing a service to our
society. From TAFE I achieved skills and knowledge
which gave me the confidence to seek the career I want.”
