“I am glad to receive this award as I believe it is
another tool in my belt to get as far as possible in my
career. The teachers at TAFE provided a great learning
environment and the structure of the course was great
because the practical work was backed up by the theory.
My current focus is to finish up my apprenticeship
and work towards being accepted into a mechanical
engineering course at university. I would like to have
the ability to exceed in which ever path my curiosity of
complex mechanical components takes me.”
“Receiving this medal is a privilege and I am thankful that
it has been awarded to me. My career goals are to own and
run my own meat retailing outlet. I’ve always had a passion
for this trade and love to be innovative and creative with
the meat I display or am working on. My TAFE course
has helped me achieve my goals and provided me with a
broader perspective of the trade I am entering. The TAFE
teachers at Granville haven’t just taught the course but
also provided us with experiences to help us in the future.”
