This highly stable and versatile measuring support features
a dis en gage able permanent magnet. Holding power
is about 65 lbs. (300 N). The large base has four mag net ic
faces and a vee recess for attaching to cy lin dri cal and
cone-shaped sur faces with di am e ters from 3/4" - 6" (20-
150 mm). The meas ur ing arms are made of thick-walled,
ground, chromium-plated steel tube and have 3 rigid ar -
ticu la tion points for inclining in any di rec tion.
A thumb screw is provided for attachment of dial indicators
by the lug back. A fine ad just ment device is also provided
at the end of the arm. Ac ces so ries include a clamp with Ø
8 mm for car tridge gage heads (16.40100). A dovetail
adaptor (18.40105) is also included for BesTest In di ca tors.
