The FISSO articulated arms
can be positioned in any way
desired both easily and precisely.
All three arm sections
can be fixed and moved with
the central tightening knob.
The quick lock ensures a high
degree of comfort for the
user. A short twist is all that
is required to operate the
infinitely adjustable clamping
system. As a result, work is
speeded up and made more
efficient.

Powerful and permanent clamping
The friction clamp is based on an infinitely
adjustable and purely mechanical clamping
system which is protected by international
patents. Its precisely fitting ball-and-socket
joint produces a high degree of static
friction which ensures maximum stability.
The pre-tension prevents the arm from
collapsing unexpectedly, which protects
sensitive measuring instruments from
damage.
This system is maintenance free and has an
extremely long service life.

Stability
The precisely fitting in the balland-socket
joint produces a great
deal of static friction. Generously
dimensioned components provide
the desired stability.
Cleverly designed central
tightening system
Three joints can be fixed and moved
in five different directions with a
single touch. The purely mechanical
and infinitely adjustable central
tightening system with the quick
lock offers the greatest possible
ease of operation.
Precise microfine adjustment
Made of high-quality steel, the
zero-play fine adjustment ensures
precise positioning of the gauging
instrument and a high degree of
measuring precision and repeatable
accuracy. Combined holder for
dial gauges and electronic length
probes with shaft diameters of
8 mm (or 3/8”) and gauges with
dovetails.
Secure, stable bases
A safe, stable base provides the
essential foundation for precise
measurements. The articulated
arms can be mounted as desired,
on a strong magnet, vacuum or
a granite sliding base.

Strato Line
The Strato line is a modern series with
red anodized arm sections made of a
high-quality light metal alloy. The
arms are available in three sizes with
radiuses of movement of 130, 200 and
280 mm and can be mounted on a
magnetic, vacuum or granite sliding
base.
All models have microfine adjustment
and a combination holder for dial
gauges and length propes with shaft
diameters of 8 mm (or 3/8”) and
gauges with dovetails.
Strato XS-13
The smallest Strato model, designed
for use with probes mounted on
machine tools, in measuring devices
and when space is at a premium. The
pre-tension is not adjustable.

areas. The pre-tension is not

Magnet for contoured surfaces.
Particularly suitable for uneven
surfaces such as machine housings,
moulded surfaces, pipes, etc. The
70 steel segments adapt to the
surface easily and precisely. Adhesive
power of approximately 600 N,
permanent.

The largest Strato model,
with infinitely adjustable
pre-tension to protect the
gauging equipment.

Powerful switch magnet with prismshaped
base, adhesive power of 750 N
or 900 N, magnet is switched on and
off by means of a lever.

Vacuum base V
Particularly suitable for granite and
all other smooth and non-porous
surfaces. Strong and durable adhesion.
The base is fixed and moved
by means of a rocker lever. Does
not require compressed air or any
other external power source.

Granite Sliding Base G
Slides smoothly across granite
surfaces. e.g. when checking for
parallelism. Made of black diabase
granite, smoothly ground front,
0.01 mm of underside has been
hollowed out, with dust grooves.
