MH3D DCC 

The Brown & Sharpe TESA MICRO-HITE ® 3D Direct 

Computer Control (DCC) coordinate measuring machine 

with PC-DMIS software is an affordable, entry level, high 

performance, high accuracy system designed to improve 

inspection throughput and accuracy in the lab or on the 

shop floor. 

Vocational Technical 

This version has been specially configured for educational 

applications in technical schools and universities. 

The MH3D DCC VT is designed for easy learning of the 

machine’s operation allowing students to find out the 

many possibilities the machine provides for 3D inspection. 

TESASTAR-m 

Motorized probe head controlled 

by PC-DMIS and TESASTAR-e 

is an electronic controller which 

serves an interface. 

The head can be pivoted through 

±180° while reaching angles 

ranging from +90° to -115° by

MH3D Reflex 

The TESA MICRO-HITE 3D Reflex machine measures to the 

micron. Interactive Reflex software allows operators of all 

skill levels to perform complex inspection routines quickly 

and efficiently with little training. The offset triangular bridge 

design provides a low center of gravity and optimum 

stiffness-to-mass ratio. Air bearings ensure frictionless motion 

in all three axes. 

MH3D HP 

The High Precision version pushes back the limits of accuracy. 

Besides a repeatability certified to 2.5 µm, the machine comes 

with a 3-year warranty along with a maintenance agreement 

over two years. Calibration certificate to ISO 10360-2. 

Equipped with both TESASTAR-i and the REFLEX application 

software. 

MH3D RC 

Featuring 3 motors fully integrated and controlled with a 

joystick, this remote version allows fine positioning to the 

micron when checking small parts with complex geometry.

Take a closer look 

The innovative TESAVISIO 300 vision measuring system is available 

in three models, two manual and one DCC. Each systems 

measurement range is 300 mm x 200 mm in (X-Y) x 150 mm 

range in the Z-axis. Two software options include a choice of 

easy-to-use TESA-VISTA software (manual version only) or the 

industry leading choice of PC-DMIS.

The gage block comparator that’s 

accurate to 30 nm (0.0000012 in) with 

a repeatability to 15 nm (0.0000006 in) 

over a measuring span of 25 mm (1 in) 

TESA UPD is the standard-compliant answer to 

stringent quality requirements in an ever-changing 

industrial world. 

This comparator can perform comparative and direct 

measurements while reducing the needed reference 

gage set by nearly 80%.
