Purpose/Goals<br />
To educate our students on the relationship of<br />
good attendance with academic success<br />
To raise our Average Daily <strong>Attendance</strong> (ADA)
Use of Funding<br />
Monies were used to purchase monthly<br />
incentives for randomly drawn students that had<br />
perfect attendance (e.g., educational games,<br />
iPods, school supplies)<br />
Over 50 students at all grade levels will receive<br />
these monthly awards throughout the year.
Student Benefits<br />
Students learn more when they are in the<br />
classroom.<br />
By increasing the number of days the students<br />
are present in class, we improve the amount they<br />
learn, thereby increasing the chances of<br />
successfully passing state tests and graduating on<br />
time.
Major Accomplishments<br />
Increased motivation to be in school by students<br />
ADA has steadily increased since the inception<br />
of the incentive program<br />
Increased ADA allows for more learning and<br />
teaching opportunities for students<br />
Increased ADA allows for additional funding<br />
from the state for our district
