Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Business course<br />

structure<br />

Students undertake a total <strong>of</strong> twenty-four subjects,<br />

consisting <strong>of</strong> a core <strong>of</strong> seven subjects, and a combination <strong>of</strong><br />

majors, minors and electives. A major consists <strong>of</strong> six subjects<br />

(at least two at stage three) from one specialisation. A minor<br />

consists <strong>of</strong> four subjects (at least one at stage three) from<br />

one specialisation.<br />

Students should <strong>note</strong> the following restrictions on subjects<br />

that can be credited towards the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Business:<br />

a maximum <strong>of</strong> twelve subjects from any specialisation;<br />

a maximum <strong>of</strong> ten stage one subjects;<br />

a minimum <strong>of</strong> four stage three subjects;<br />

the subject AT1 19 Academic Communication Skills<br />

cannot be used for credits towards the Bachelor <strong>of</strong><br />

Business; and<br />

the subjects BC331 Taxation and BC336 Advanced<br />

Taxation mav be counted towards either an Accounting<br />

or Law rnajo'r or minor, but not both.<br />
