It will be offered as: Certificate IV in Laboratory Technology - Biological Sciences - Chemical Laboratory Technology Course aims and description Laboratory technology courses provide specialised education and training for scientific laboratory support staff. This course encompasses a wide range of skills, techniques, and processes, so that graduates are flexible, adaptable and competent, to meet the technological and administrative demands of a changing workforce. Career potential The Advanced Certificate in Laboratory Technology is an award that qualifies a person to work in a scientific laboratory at a junior level. Further studies pathways Students who have completed the Advanced Certificate a are eligible to transfer to the Associate Diploma, with E full credits. Entry requirements m Normal entry is successful completion of VCE Units 1 and 2 or equivalent, with passes in mathematics and " science subjects.
