cooperatives will be analysed to determine to what extent<br />

they are able to reflect community needs.<br />

statisticians etc.<br />

This subject aims to provide an introduction and overview<br />

<strong>of</strong> the use <strong>of</strong> research in community development. It<br />

examines a broad range <strong>of</strong> social research, methodologies<br />

and techniques and critically looks at the role <strong>of</strong> ethics<br />

within research.<br />
