This subject addresses the installation, upgrading,<br />

TE732 Single User DOS<br />

4 hours per week Hawthorn Prerequisites: Nil<br />

A subject in the Advanced Certificate in Industrial<br />

Content<br />

Provides practical experience <strong>of</strong> the facilities provided by a<br />

typical single user disk based operation system. Topics<br />

covered include basic operating system commands, system<br />

installation, disk storage structure, memory requirements<br />

and memory usage, submit file requirements and<br />

programming, menu based application environment,<br />

operating system error recovery techniques and archiving<br />

policies and practices.<br />

TE733 Electrical Industrial Control 1 B<br />

Content<br />

Provides foundation studies in drafting. It also covers a<br />

range <strong>of</strong> topics in the electro-mechanic drafting area,<br />

orthographic projection, pictorial drawing, sketching,<br />

sectioning, scaling and assembly drawings. An introduction<br />

to electrical/ electronic symbols and diagrams is also<br />

included.<br />
