Interpretation <strong>of</strong> Australian Standards governing safe<br />

working when using a PC. Relationships between control<br />

systems, including the drawing <strong>of</strong> a wiring diagram for an<br />

I/O rack.<br />

TE664 Programmable Logic Controllers 2<br />

A subject in the Advanced Certificate in Industrial<br />

Topics include manipulation <strong>of</strong> data, computations<br />

involving the programmable controller, programming and<br />

using Analog inputs with transducers, Analog output<br />

control, word input and output, process control with open<br />

and closed loop configuration, generating reports and<br />

messages, transferring information through communication<br />

networks, using the personal computer as a programmer.<br />
