Content<br />

This module will enable a student to use a commercial<br />

typical ledger operations and generate common business<br />

ITF414 4GL Programming<br />

A 20 hour module Hawthorn Prerequisites: nil<br />

A subject in the Diploma <strong>of</strong> Applied Science (Materials<br />

Engineering) and the Certificate N in Materials Science.<br />

Content<br />

Utilise a fourth generation programming language to<br />

develop simple s<strong>of</strong>tware applications involving flat-file<br />

databases and user-friendly form-based input and output.<br />

Content<br />

The aim <strong>of</strong> this module is to provide a general introduction<br />

to the more advanced skills and techniques involved in<br />

using a commercial database package to create an integrated<br />

application using a multi - table database.<br />
