Objectives and content<br />

Provides a design approach to the development and use <strong>of</strong><br />

type form; develops sensitivity to letter form and spatial<br />

balance through appropriate drawing and manual drafting<br />

exercises; builds an understanding <strong>of</strong> the terminology <strong>of</strong><br />

type; establishes a historical context for type form;<br />

enhances the skills and knowledge in 'Design Process'<br />

(Module 4).<br />
