Course availability and duration<br />

Two years <strong>of</strong> pan-time study.<br />

Course structure<br />

The course consists <strong>of</strong> fifteen modules or 600 contact<br />

hours. One module consists <strong>of</strong> thirty-six to forty hours and<br />

is equivalent to one module <strong>of</strong> an associate diploma course.<br />

The flexible nature <strong>of</strong> the course allows students to<br />

structure a program to suit their individual career path and<br />

industry requirements.<br />

For accreditation, students must comply with the following<br />

structural requirements:<br />

Diploma technical modules (minimum <strong>of</strong> three);<br />

Diploma non-technical (management) modules (minimum<br />

<strong>of</strong> three);<br />

Associate Diploma modules (maximum <strong>of</strong> six).<br />

The Associate Diploma modules selected must be different<br />

to those which were chosen in gaining the Associate<br />

Diploma or Certificate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Technology</strong>.<br />

Select a minimum <strong>of</strong> three.<br />

Students may select subjects at this level <strong>of</strong>fered by<br />

other institutions on approval by the course coordinator.<br />
