Diploma: designed to develop broader and
specialist knowledge and skills required for
effective management of information. Areas
covered include reference skills, research sources

Certificate III: designed to develop the skills and
knowledge which will enable a person to work
effectively in a variety of assistant roles in library
and information agencies. Areas covered include
collection maintenance, lending services, library
classification, cataloguing procedures, database
searching and retrieval.

Certificate III: identifies strategies for achieving
financial and work goals and objectives. Also
introduces the skills required to develop and
manage individuals and teams.
Certificate IV: concentrates on further developing
the skills required to effectively manage people in
the workplace and focuses on the importance of
financial aspects when making decisions.
Diploma: develops an innovative and
entrepreneurial attitude to management by
studying a range of modules designed to enhance
advanced skills in management. Major studies
include: developing business overseas, quality and
continuous improvement, cultural diversity,
tactical marketing.

range of companies in the private and public
