<strong>Course</strong> overview<br />

Students undertake both an Advanced Diploma of<br />

Business (Accounting) <strong>and</strong> a Business (Accounting)<br />

degree. Students will have the opportunity not only<br />

to gain specialist accounting training at a theoretical<br />

<strong>and</strong> practical level but also to undertake minors in<br />

a variety of related areas including economics,<br />

finance <strong>and</strong> human resource management.<br />

computer accounting <strong>and</strong> costing, in industry, in<br />

Professional recognition<br />

Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma of<br />

Business (Accounting) graduates will be eligible to<br />

apply for membership of the National Institute of<br />

Accountants (NIA). The Bachelor of Business has<br />

been separately accredited by the Australian<br />

Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA)<br />

<strong>and</strong> the Institute of Chartered Accountants in<br />

Australia (ICAA).<br />
