Living away from home
Swinburne’s Housing Office provides off-campus options, such as Home-Away-from-Home, private rental/share housing and details
on local hostels. A Housing Adviser will assist you in deciding which type of accommodation will best suit your needs and financial
situation. Advice on living costs and tenancy issues is also available.
Renae Cassar shares a flat with two other university students and contacted Swinburne’s Housing Office. ‘Student Services were very
helpful in helping me find a flat, they were very supportive’, said Renae. ‘I wanted to live with some other students while I was
studying in Melbourne. I met some other students through friends and we decided to get a place together’.
