General Trophy Rules (from SNZ Regulation 9)<br />
Only <strong>Swimming</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> members are eligible for consideration for trophies or trophy<br />
points.<br />
<strong>Points</strong> shall be awarded to Regions and <strong>Club</strong>s based upon the finishing position in the finals or<br />
timed finals of the relative <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> Competitions.<br />
No points shall be awarded or allocated to Visitors placing in any event. <strong>Swimming</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong><br />
members relative points place shall be advanced to replace any visitor.<br />
Standard SNZ <strong>Points</strong> table shall be for the top 8 placings as follows:<br />

<strong>Top</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Trophy<br />
The <strong>Top</strong> <strong>Club</strong> trophy is awarded at each of the NZ Juniors; NZ Division 2; NZ Age Groups; NZ<br />
Open Water, NZ Summer and NZ Youth & Open Competitions and Championships. A trophy for<br />
the top club, a plaque to the second and third placed clubs and certificates to the top ten placed<br />
clubs will be provided by <strong>Swimming</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>. Standard SNZ points (Regulation 8.1.5) will<br />
be awarded in all individual events, and, where they are contested, <strong>Club</strong> relay events. No<br />
points are awarded for Regional relay events.<br />
