The Poole Family Scholarship<br />

Awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate. To be eligible, candidates must demonstrate financial need<br />

and scholarship standing. Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from high school in western<br />

Newfoundland. Recipients may attend any <strong>of</strong> <strong>Memorial</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Newfoundland’s campuses. The<br />

scholarship is renewable for up to three years as long as candidates maintain scholarship standing.<br />

Awarded annually to a student commencing first-year studeies in the visual arts program (BFA) at Grenfell<br />

Campus. The award is made on the basis <strong>of</strong> previous academic performance and the quality <strong>of</strong> the portfolio<br />

submission.<br />

Entrance Scholarships for International Students: International students are automatically considered for non-renewable entrance scholarships on an individual basis.<br />

Applications are not required. These scholarships are based on a number <strong>of</strong> criteria <strong>incl</strong>uding academic standing. For more information: www.mun.ca/scholarships/home.
