students with the opportunity to learn the principles
of tourism management, to understand the issues
surrounding tourism locally, nationally and globally,
and to develop as a leader in the tourism industry.

WITHIN THE TOURISM SECTOR.

Tourism management principles and the related areas
of business, economics and cultural heritage will be taught
in a small-classroom setting. But the very nature of the
tourism industry dictates that students gain experience outside
the classroom; students will collaborate with peers, instructors
and professionals in the field to see first-hand what the tourism
industry is all about – the challenges and successes that
tourism practitioners and operators face every day.
We also offer an advanced diploma in tourism studies
for people who may have completed other training
or may already be working in the tourism field.
