Your coursework will give you an intensive, rich,
educational experience. Courses are complemented
with a winter semester internship where you will
teach children in the classroom. This intensive
educational experience will allow you to develop
your individual teaching style and recognize the
scope and complexity of a classroom teacher’s
roles and responsibilities under the guidance
of a co-operating teacher.
Students applying to the consecutive delivery option
must have completed a total of 78 credit hours (26
courses). There are specific courses necessary within
these 26 courses, including a required focus area.

University Calendar. Students are strongly
encouraged to meet with an academic adviser
to discuss appropriate course selection.

HAND:
They’ve been there. Course instructors
are knowledgeable in their respective
discipline areas and most have K-12
teaching experience. There is also opportunity to
connect course content to school-based
experiences through 10 days of school
observation in the fall semester.

Lindsi Hutchings has always known what she’s wanted to do with her life.

three years completing pre-requisites at Grenfell I knew I’d made the right
