The bachelor of business administration (BBA) at
Grenfell Campus is a 120-credit- hour undergraduate
business program that is designed to deliver a
comprehensive foundation in the fundamentals of
business and decision-making. The program also
emphasizes the importance of honing such practical
skills as critical thinking, research and analysis,
professional verbal and written communication and
interpersonal conduct. A required suite of traditional
business courses ensures you will be equipped in the
functional areas of business operation, such as
accounting, marketing, finance and human resources.
In addition, the Grenfell BBA allows you to
concentrate on one of two growing areas
of interest in our ever-evolving business
environment: contemporary business studies,
and small business and entrepreneurship.
There are several ways you can gain entry to
the Grenfell BBA. You may apply for admission
directly from high school, or those with the
appropriate academic background may be eligible
for advanced standing. If you have advanced
standing or are a transfer student, make sure you
consult with the program chair before seeking
enrolment in the program.

The folks there are guiding young entrepreneurs in
Corner Brook, enabling students at both Grenfell
and the Corner Brook public college to explore
the potential of turning ideas and research into
commercial enterprises.
Jenna Jones chose Grenfell's business administration program because she saw it as
a degree that would open a lot of doors. "The BBA program helped me establish a
strong work ethic," said Jenna, who hails from Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, Que. "It
pushed me to pay attention to detail, to see things from a logical standpoint and
to develop critical opinions on real life issues." She said the level of instruction at
Grenfell is by far its best asset – "The professors are very knowledgeable, agreeable,
helpful and dedicated. They set the bar high." And even though Jenna has
graduated, she still insists she can't get enough of the place. "If I’m not taking
classes here, I find work here. It’s a fun and fresh place to be. There is always a
new project, art exhibit, fundraiser, social, society or other activity to take part in."
