When there is no flow from the reservoir, <strong>Sulphur</strong> <strong>Springs</strong> provides nearly all <strong>of</strong> the<br />

inflow <strong>of</strong> low salinity inflow to the lower river. Figure 3-11 is time series graph <strong>of</strong> the<br />

proportion <strong>of</strong> total gaged inflow to the Lower Hillsborough River represented by <strong>Sulphur</strong><br />

<strong>Springs</strong>. During prolonged periods, the spring provides in excess <strong>of</strong> 80% <strong>of</strong> the gaged<br />

inflow to the lower river. Table 3-3 lists percent exceedance values <strong>for</strong> the proportion <strong>of</strong><br />

total gaged flow to the lower river that is comprised by <strong>Sulphur</strong> <strong>Springs</strong>. For fifty percent<br />

<strong>of</strong> the time, flow from <strong>Sulphur</strong> <strong>Springs</strong> comprises at least 89% <strong>of</strong> the gaged inflow to the<br />

Lower Hillsborough River. However, periodic ungaged flows <strong>of</strong> stormwater run<strong>of</strong>f from<br />

the urbanized catchment below the dam are not included in Figure 3-11 or Table 3-3.<br />
