7P Series—Polyethyl<strong>en</strong>e <strong>Hose</strong><br />
Features<br />
■ Polyethyl<strong>en</strong>e hose designed for use in food, dairy, <strong>and</strong> water<br />
applications.<br />
■ Smooth-bore polyethyl<strong>en</strong>e core.<br />
■ Size range of 1/4 to 1 in. <strong>and</strong> working pressures up to<br />
2750 psig (189 bar).<br />
■ Internal fiber reinforcem<strong>en</strong>t <strong>en</strong>hances hose pressure rating.<br />
■ Smooth, polyurethane blue cover is nonperforated to<br />
p<strong>rev</strong><strong>en</strong>t moisture <strong>en</strong>trapm<strong>en</strong>t <strong>and</strong> system contamination.<br />
■ Polyurethane cover resists abrasion.<br />
■ Polyethyl<strong>en</strong>e core material is compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part<br />
177.1520 <strong>and</strong> NSF-51, for use with food, dairy, <strong>and</strong> water.<br />
■ Bulk hose <strong>and</strong> <strong>en</strong>d connections available for field assembly;<br />
custom assemblies also available.<br />
■ Options include hose covers <strong>and</strong> spring guards. See<br />

Cleaning <strong>and</strong> Packaging<br />
<strong>Swagelok</strong> polyethyl<strong>en</strong>e hose<br />
compon<strong>en</strong>ts are cleaned in accordance<br />
with <strong>Swagelok</strong> St<strong>and</strong>ard Cleaning <strong>and</strong><br />
Packaging (SC-10), <strong>MS</strong>-06-62. Each<br />
hose is bagged individually <strong>and</strong> boxed;<br />
longer hoses are coiled, bagged, <strong>and</strong><br />
boxed.<br />

Nonperforated covers may<br />
blister in gas service.<br />
