NG Series Nylon <strong>Hose</strong><br />
Features<br />
■ Electrically conductive nylon hose for CNG.<br />
■ Static dissipative, smooth-bore nylon core ().<br />
■ Size range of 1/4 <strong>and</strong> 3/8 in. <strong>and</strong> working pressures up to<br />
5000 psig (344 bar).<br />
■ Internal fiber reinforcem<strong>en</strong>t <strong>en</strong>hances hose pressure rating.<br />
■ Cover includes a blue stripe which provides an easily<br />
visible indicator of the static dissipative core.<br />
■ Perforated polyurethane cover resists abrasion.<br />
■ Designed for use with natural gas where static dissipation<br />
is required.<br />

NYLON<br />
Testing<br />
Every <strong>Swagelok</strong> NG series hose assembly is factory tested<br />
for electrical conductivity.<br />
Cleaning <strong>and</strong> Packaging<br />
<strong>Swagelok</strong> conductive core hose compon<strong>en</strong>ts are cleaned in<br />
accordance with <strong>Swagelok</strong> St<strong>and</strong>ard Cleaning <strong>and</strong> Packaging<br />
(SC-10), <strong>MS</strong>-06-62. Each hose is bagged individually <strong>and</strong><br />
boxed; longer hoses are coiled, bagged, <strong>and</strong> boxed.<br />
Warning:<br />
All equipm<strong>en</strong>t must be properly grounded to allow<br />
static dissipation <strong>and</strong> help to p<strong>rev</strong><strong>en</strong>t static sparking.<br />
Periodic inspection of hose assembly is<br />
recomm<strong>en</strong>ded. End-to-<strong>en</strong>d electrical resistance of<br />
the hose assembly must not exceed 5 M.<br />
