Because there is no data for BOD 5 on 9-10 November 2009 and on 9-10 January 2010 the BOD 5 from these measurements are estimated by using the BOD 5 /COD-ratio from 5-6 November 2009. From the flow data collected an average weighted BOD 5 value has been calculated in order to calculate the total BOD 5 load per day. The values can be seen in Table 8.11 on the next page.   52

The k-value, in this report used for degradation of BOD, is calculated by the increase of oxygen consumption over time. Results of the k-value are listed in Table 8.12 below. The k-value data can be found in Appendix F. For more information about the k-value see Appendix E.
