Key Features
Optimized for Full HD Surveillance
The PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s provide 2 Full HD video outputs (1 HDMI, 1 VGA), which generate absolute clear live and playback images
when using Full HD monitors. The user can choose the image size between ‘Original Ratio’ and ‘Fit to Screen’ as the standard ratio of analog
cameras is 4:3 and the ratio of Full HD monitors is 16:9. These DVR’s also offer wide screen formats like 3x2 or 4x3 formats which fit in Full
HD resolution. In order to make the best use of Full HD monitors, they have 2 different GUI sets for Full HD and standard resolution providing
optimized user interface when using Full HD monitors.

Specialized for multi operator surveillance systems, up to 5
monitors can be connected to the PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s
simultaneously. Two primary monitors provide live and playback
images in Full HD resolution and 2 secondary monitors can
be used as dual monitors to display different live images from
primary monitors. In addition 1 spot monitor can be connected
to PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s for installations where additional
monitors are required for public viewing or distributed monitoring.

Storage Expansion via eSATA and iSCSI
The PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s provide eSATA and iSCSI ports for installations where additional storage capacity is needed to keep the video
longer or to enhance data reliability. The eSATA interface can be used to setup DAS (Direct Attached Storage), which is a reliable, and cost efficient
solution for small to medium installations. The iSCSI interface is an IP based storage networking standard which can be used to setup SAN (Storage
Area Network) typically used in high-end installations. The PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s also support data archiving and internal disk mirroring to
preserve important recordings in case of hard drive failures.

Superior H.264 Recording Performance
The PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s utilise the ClearView ISP1000, which is a H.264
hardware codec chip designed specifically with security applications in mind and uses
level 4.1compression, which clearly differentiates it from other H.264 models. The
ClearView ISP1000 TM has a number of features specific to the security industry, such
as integration of multiplexer, multi channel audio codec, multi-resolution compression,
motion detection, blind detection, de-blocking filters, to name a few.

Mobile Apps
RASmobile is remote monitoring software that allows monitoring of remote sites on Windows
Mobile based PDA’s. RASmobile offers monitoring of live camera images, image adjustment and
PTZ control from your PDA device.
The Pacom iPDR-mobile / aPDR-mobile apps are for the remote monitoring of live camera
images using Apple iPhone and iTouch (iPDR-mobile) and Android smartphone (aPDR-mobile)
devices and can be are downloaded from the applicable App Store.

WebGuard
WebGuard is an ActiveX based add-on that allows you to access a remote DVR, using Internet
Explorer web browser. This can be done anytime, from virtually anywhere around the world
without installing any dedicated client software. It will allow you to monitor live video images and
search recorded video footage for areas of interest.
RASplus
RASplus is remote software that provides 64 cameras of live and playback images, event
monitoring, local recording, E-map and device management. The system can connect to up to
64 DVR’s live and up to 16 DVR’s for playback at a time. The software monitors and reports the
status of all connected hardware and will provide notification of a number of events detected at
the remote sites. The RASplus software is supplied with the PDRH-8/16HD-Hybrid DVR’s.
