<strong>Chapter</strong> 8 — Device Status Monitoring<br />
You can simultaneously check the status of registered devices.<br />
First, check the following.<br />
• Devices should be added to a device group. Refer to <strong>Chapter</strong> 11 — Device Management (p. 93) for<br />
details.<br />
8.1 Health Monitoring<br />
System health monitoring is supported in the Health panel (supported only for devices registered on recording<br />
services). If the Health tab is not on the tab panel, go to the System menu, click New Tab and Health.<br />
The Client program automatically displays the health monitoring results when the Health tab is added.<br />
1 Summary List: Displays the health monitoring status of all devices registered on recording services in<br />
summary.<br />
− Total: Displays the number of devices registered on recording services.<br />
− Problem: Displays the number of devices where a problem is detected.<br />
− Unreachable: Displays the number of devices that are not connected.<br />
− Healthy: Displays the number of devices where no problem is detected.<br />
2 Detailed List: Displays the status of each device in detail.<br />
− Status: Displays the status (Healthy: No Problem detected; Problem: Video loss event is detected<br />
or login failed because of the lack of available screens or because the software version is invalid;<br />
Unreachable: The device is not connected).<br />
− Device: Displays the device name.<br />
− Model: Displays the device’s model name.<br />
− Cameras: Displays the number of cameras supported by the device.<br />
− Problem: Displays details regarding the problem.<br />
