Map Event Spot Setup<br />

NOTE: The “map event spot” in the SiRiS program is a predefined camera screen in which video from a camera<br />

which an event is detected among cameras on a map can be monitored with emphasis. The map event spot<br />

screen is surrounded by a gray outline.<br />

1. Select a camera screen to set up as a map event spot screen on the current monitoring screen.<br />

2. Click the (Map Event Spot) button on the toolbar at the bottom of the Live panel, and the current<br />

connection in the selected camera screen is released. The map event spot screen is surrounded by a gray<br />

outline.<br />

3. When an event is detected, video from the event-detected is displayed on the map event spot screen.<br />

An event is detected.<br />

Layout Monitoring<br />

You can monitor video from multiple cameras in a predefined layout. A layout should be registered on the<br />

NVR system for layout monitoring. Refer to the following explanation for details about layout registration.<br />

NOTE: A “layout” in this document refers to a screen organization created by arranging specific cameras<br />

in a specific screen format.<br />

Select a desired layout from the Layout list, and drag and drop<br />

it on the Live screen. Video from cameras added to the Layout<br />

is displayed in the predefined screen format on the screen.<br />

Registering Layouts<br />

1. Go to the System menu, and click SiRiS Setup, and select the Device menu.<br />
