TCP/IP<br />

• IP Address Configuration: Sets up the device’s<br />

IP address. Select the type of device’s network<br />

configuration.<br />

− Set Manually: Select when the device is using<br />

a static IP address for network connection,<br />

and set up LAN parameters manually.<br />

− DHCP: Select when the device is networked<br />

via DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration<br />

Protocol). Click the Apply button, and<br />

network information is automatically assigned<br />

to the device.<br />

• DNS Configuration – Type: Sets up the DNS server’s network information.<br />

− Set Manually: Allows you to set up manually.<br />

− DHCP: Assigns the information automatically. Clicking the Apply button applies the change, and the<br />

changed information is displayed the next time it is connected. This may not be supported when the<br />

device’s IP address is set to Set Manually.<br />

DDNS<br />

Zero Configuration<br />

• Update Type: Updates the device’s IP address<br />

information in the NVR system automatically<br />

when the device’s IP address is changed.<br />

− No Update: Does not update the device’s IP<br />

address information automatically.<br />

− Device Update, DHCP Server Update:<br />

Updates the IP address of the device or that<br />

is registered on the DHCP server.<br />

• Name: Sets up the DNS name.<br />

• TTL (Time to Live): Sets up the interval that<br />

the DHCP is to be updated.<br />

• Enable Zero Configuration: Allocates an<br />

appropriate IP address proper for the current<br />

network condition automatically (supported<br />

only for devices that provide the function).<br />
