Martyrdom is <strong>the</strong> ultimate expression <strong>of</strong> love, faith and desire to be with <strong>the</strong> Lord in His<br />
heavenly kingdom. Martyrs achieve <strong>the</strong> desires <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir hearts <strong>of</strong> being with Jesus Christ. They<br />
consider death as a gain and a great reward.<br />
Lesson Outline:<br />
I. Who Is The Group Of Conquerors? (Revelation 12:11)<br />
They are <strong>the</strong> group <strong>of</strong> martyrs - who gave <strong>the</strong>ir life for faith.<br />
They are <strong>the</strong> group <strong>of</strong> confessors who, through standing firm in <strong>the</strong> apostolic faith,<br />
kept <strong>the</strong>ir faith.<br />
They are <strong>the</strong> group <strong>of</strong> monks, hermits and <strong>the</strong> carriers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cross. These are <strong>the</strong><br />
martyrs without shedding <strong>the</strong> blood.<br />
They are <strong>the</strong> group <strong>of</strong> believers who perform <strong>the</strong>ir work, but <strong>the</strong>y suffer daily<br />
because <strong>the</strong>y bear witness to truth and reject <strong>the</strong> spirit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world.<br />
They are those who conquered <strong>the</strong> world and all its desires, <strong>the</strong> devil and all his<br />
temptations.<br />
They conquered it in <strong>the</strong>ir flesh (Chastity - fasting - struggle).<br />
They conquered it in its temptations and threats.<br />
They conquered it in its enmity.<br />
II. With The Blood <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Lamb<br />
The blood Jesus Christ shed on <strong>the</strong> cross gave <strong>the</strong> martyrs <strong>the</strong> power to shed <strong>the</strong>ir own blood.<br />
It also gave <strong>the</strong> power and wonderful boldness to <strong>the</strong>ir testimony.<br />
