grass/forb area<br />

• <strong>Plan</strong>t additional<br />
large-head sedge<br />
on bare sites in<br />
dune area.<br />
As necessary,<br />
remove shrubs and<br />
trees, including all<br />
large-growing<br />
trees, to maintain<br />
the desired ratio <strong>of</strong><br />
woody vegetation<br />
to grass/forb.<br />
If tansy persists<br />
after several years<br />
<strong>of</strong> cutting, rototill<br />
(5-8 cm deep) the<br />
infested area and<br />
plant with a<br />
grass/clover<br />
mixture as per the<br />
management plan.<br />
