disposed cases reduced

cases; the Court had 928
cases pending at the end
of 2007. These numbers
translate to a 101 percent
case-clearance rate in 2008,
versus 97 percent in 2007.

2004, to a high of 37 percent in the past year. The most recent year in which the Court had
a pro se caseload of 37 percent was 2006, when 885 pro se cases were filed.
In 2008, 919 cases were filed by pro se litigants. This number increased over the number
filed in 2007 by 88 cases.
