Even as the first class <strong>of</strong><br />
freshmen began their <strong>SUNY</strong>IT<br />
experience, the Admissions <strong>of</strong>fice<br />
was busy meeting with high<br />
school students and their parents.<br />
Discovery Day, an open<br />
house program for prospective<br />
freshmen and their families,<br />
was held at <strong>SUNY</strong>IT Oct. 13.<br />
The day featured informational<br />
sessions about <strong>SUNY</strong>IT, briefings<br />
from faculty and staff, a<br />
panel discussion featuring current<br />
freshmen, and tours <strong>of</strong> the<br />
campus. In November, the annual<br />
fall open house <strong>of</strong>fered<br />
similar opportunities for all<br />
prospective students.<br />
In addition to the October<br />
Discovery Day program,<br />
<strong>SUNY</strong>IT hosts two open houses<br />
each year for prospective students.<br />
The spring 2004 open<br />
house will be held Saturday,<br />
April 17.<br />
