purchase a permit to drive on Wildlife Refuge Beaches (approximately $300). A four-wheel-drive vehicle is also<br />

required to cross the three-and-a-half miles of beach to the house. Gas lights, a classic gas stove and two gas refrigerators<br />

will amply meet your needs in this nonelectric house (no TV! no video games!). A generator is available to<br />

run the dishwasher and the clothes washer. Sleeps six to eight people.<br />

A pear-shaped vase composed of gold bubbly glass (pulegoso) decorated with two purple glass handles. Applied<br />

base composed of pulegoso glass. The vase is 15 1/4” high. It has been featured in exhibitions in both the American<br />

Craft Museum in New York and the Spazio Oberdan in Milano, Italy. With the pulegoso vase comes a <strong>catalog</strong>ue<br />

entitled Venetian Glass. This <strong>catalog</strong>ue accompanied an exhibition by the same name at the Craft Museum in New<br />

York in 2000 featuring Murano glass from the Olnick Spanu Collection.<br />
