Additional remark<br />

(a) If the devices selected do not conform to the principle described in (1), the system will not<br />

connect the devices selected to a new network, and a warning message will appear.<br />

(b) If a device selected has more than one port which is not connected to any network and matches<br />

the new network added, the system will connect the port whose port number is smaller to the<br />

new network added.<br />

(c) <strong>User</strong>s can select multiple devices by dragging a selection net around them. If the users press<br />

Ctrl+A on the keyboard, all the devices and networks in the working area are selected.<br />

(d) If users select a node which consists of a PLC and a module, and the PLC and the module<br />

conform to the principle described in (1), the system will connect a port of the PLC and a port of<br />

the module to a new network added.<br />

(e) If the devices that users select have ports which are not connected to any networks, and can be<br />

connected to an RS-485 network or an Ethernet network, the system will connect the ports to an<br />

Ethernet network.<br />

16.2.3 Adjusting or Deleting Devices or Networks<br />

• Adjusting the order in which the nodes in the working area are arranged<br />

<strong>User</strong>s can change the order in which the nodes in the working area are arranged by dragging a<br />

node to a different position. The nodes in the working area can only be at the same level, and<br />

increase rightwards. The users can not drag a node to a position above or under another node.<br />
