Chapter 2 Starting and Setting
• System setting─Symbol Table
Users can preview changes here.
Users have to select an item in the Item section, and then select a font in the Text section.
If this item is selected, the Add Symbol window will close automatically after a symbol is
declared.
If this item is selected, the Add Symbol window will appear automatically after users type an
undefined symbol in a ladder diagram (LD), function block diagram (FBD), or a sequential
function chart (SFC), and press Enter on the keyboard.
If a symbol is cut/copied, the symbol pasted will include a comment.

Users have to select an item here.
Users can preview changes here.
Users can select a type and a color.
After the mouse cursor stays at an object for a while, the hints users select in the Show
Symbol Hint section will appear.
Users can set the widths of blocks. The setting will affect the lengths of symbols in blocks.
