Chapter 7 Function Block Obviously, the execution of the program in this section is different from the execution of the program in section 6.3. In the program in section 6.3, TRIG_1 is OFF when the flag RUNNING is OFF. In the program in this section, TRIG_1 is ON when the flag RUNNING is OFF. This is an expectable and acceptable situation. In the plan for the equipment, TRIG_1 is set to OFF so that it can be set to ON next time. As a result, the function of the equipment will not be affected even if the state of TRIG_1 remains unchanged when the equipment stops running. Please refer to section 4.1 for more information about the plan for the equipment. 7-33

program in this section, TRIG_1 is ON when the flag RUNNING is OFF. This is an expectable and<br />
acceptable situation. In the plan for the equipment, TRIG_1 is set to OFF so that it can be set to ON<br />
next time. As a result, the function of the equipment will not be affected even if the state of TRIG_1<br />
