(2) Before the hardware configuration enters the online mode, the system checks whether the<br />

hardware configuration stored in the CPU module is the same as the hardware configuration in<br />

the system configuration area. If the hardware configuration stored in the CPU module is<br />

different from the hardware configuration in the system configuration area, the system will ask<br />

users to download the hardware configuration again.<br />

(3) After the hardware configuration enters the online mode, the statuses of the modules<br />

displayed in the system configuration area will vary with the actual statuses of the modules.<br />

The statuses of the LED indicators on the CPU module displayed in the system configuration<br />

area are the same as the actual statuses of the LED indicators on the CPU module. The LED<br />

indicators are the RUN LED indicator, the ERROR LED indicator, and the BUS FAULT LED<br />

indicator from top to bottom.<br />

The module is in a warning status.<br />

The module is normal.<br />

The system configuration is different from the actual<br />

system configuration. (An unknown module is installed in<br />

this slot.)<br />

The system configuration is different from the actual system<br />

configuration. (No module is installed in this slot.)<br />

The system configuration is different from the actual system<br />

configuration. (No extension rack is scanned.)<br />

3.5.6.2 Module Information and Diagnosis<br />

An error occurs in the module.<br />

If the hardware configuration is in the online mode, users can right-click the CPU module or a<br />

module, and click Module Information on the context menu. The users can get the information<br />

related to the CPU module or the module through the connection, and the information is displayed in<br />

the Module Information window.<br />
