From its assertive rear spoiler with roof vane to the front<br />
co r n e r s p o i l e r a n d c a re f u l at t e nt i o n t o d e t a i l o n t h e<br />
underside, the aerodynamic intent and purpose of the<br />
<strong>Impreza</strong> WRX <strong>ST</strong>I is absolutely clear. Its exclusive Driver’s<br />
Control Centre Differential (DCCD) system, that consists of<br />
both an electromagnetic and a mechanical LSD, distributes<br />
the engine torque to the front and rear wheels from 41:59 to<br />
50:50 by monitoring the driver’s likely cornering path with<br />
the help of various sensors. This advanced AWD power-train,<br />
front helical LSD and rear TORSEN* LSD, all provide the utmost<br />
balance for a more dynamic drive with greater agility, stability<br />
and traction. It not only grips the road but also the heart and<br />
soul of your driving life – like nothing else can.<br />

This is the proven strength, the heart and soul of the WRX<br />
<strong>ST</strong>I’s rally-bred genes. This evolution of the SUBARU BOXER<br />
2.5-litre DOHC turbo engine* with large sized intercooler is<br />
the essence of what makes our FIA WRC experience count<br />
on the open road. There’s an enormous 206kW (280 PS) of<br />
power, with a ground-breaking 392 Nm (40 kgfm) of torque.<br />
An Active Valve Control System, variable valve timing ,<br />
semi-closed cylinder deck design, strengthened pistons,<br />
and secondary air system combustion all play their part, in<br />
providing outstanding performance that’s also compliant<br />
with EURO4 emissions standards as well.<br />
