Class of 1965

The 2007 reunion for the St. Vincent Class of 1965 was a
wonderful success. Since Jasper’s Restaurant closed down
after the Alumni Connection V65 reunion notice was posted
in the Fall Edition, we switched and returned to Louis’ on
Glenwood Avenue. In spite of the short notice, we had a great
turnout and some NewBee’s. It was a time of reminiscing,
remembering those who passed on, laughing at the past and
present, comparing notes on kids and grandkids, vacations,
and hopes of a 45th Reunion in 2010.
We overtook Louis’ and although there were no seats when
we arrived, we had ALL the tables occupied by the time the
reunion started. Even though the restaurant hours are
posted as “open until 10pm,” they kindly let us stay until
11pm! Then 12 of us from the V65 Class continued the party
at Luigi’s.
V65 is in desperate need of email addresses or any form of
contact with all our classmates. We want to get started on the
planning of our 45th reunion in 2010. Please have everyone
contact me at clieb@kent.edu, or you can call me and leave a
message on my machine (I’m in the phone book).
Thanks to all of you who came out (Judy S — we missed
you). It was one of the best! For those who couldn’t make it,
please come next year and in the mean time, please keep
in touch.

How did the Fighting Irish Class of 1967 celebrate their
40th reunion?
July 27 & 29, 2007 found 54 attendees enjoying fine dining
at legendary Tangier’s Restaurant. These alumni & guests also
danced to 60’s music, played a trivia game, won fabulous
prizes and were honored with “Emmy” awards reminiscent of
their high school days.
